A look at my personal journey towards living a life with less.  By decreasing the things in my life, I hope to increase the joy in my relationships and experiences.  I am always open to suggestions from others who are on the same journey.

  1. I’m really loving this movement towards simplicity throughout the blogging world!! Very nice to have found your blog; and I loved your ode to your wonderful bf – I feel the same about mine! 🙂

I found your site today from minimalistlifestyle..I love what you are doing. I to am trying to live and want less.. It’s hard at times. Living in my house for 26 years I got alot but now working on getting rid of it..Only keeping the needs and not so much of the wants. Sometimes it just stresses me out..The older I get , the less I want. Keep up the writing. Thanks

      Thanks for reading and commenting!
I haven’t been writing as much as I should lately, but I try to record my major milestones when it comes to decluttering. It’s hard to believe how much stuff accumulates without you even realizing it. I had my first wake-up call when I moved a few years back. I couldn’t believe the amount of junk that I had stored up in only ONE room! And most of it was stuff I hadn’t seen, used, or touched for years. Ridiculous.
I’m like you; the older I get, the less I want.
      Good luck on your journey!
